To make an appointment for Operation ID, please call 305-284-1105. Alternately, you may walk-in to the UMPD station on campus (located in the Ponce Garage, 1st FL) between 9am and 3pm, Monday through Friday, and ask to have your property marked, with the understanding that you may need to wait until a UMPD employee is available to perform the task.
Should the marked property ever become lost or stolen, be sure to let the responding officer know that you had the property marked, and the approximate location of where the marking was located on the item, (e.g.; on the bottom left-hand corner of the tablet, underneath the case).
Marking your property in this easily identifiable way helps to link the object back to you, should it ever be recovered.
